Sell To Us - Terms & Conditions

By submitting an item through our Sell to Us form, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are designed to ensure a clear and fair process for both you (the seller) and us (the buyer).

1. Ownership & Accuracy

You confirm that:

  • You are the rightful owner of the item(s) you are submitting.
  • All information provided in your submission (including item descriptions and condition) is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge.
  • The item is not counterfeit, stolen, or subject to any third-party claims.

 

2. Items We Accept

We buy authentic vintage items, primarily from the 1960s to early 2000s. All items must be in wearable or sellable condition, as outlined in our condition guide.

We reserve the right to:

  • Decline any item for any reason, at our discretion.
  • Offer a different price than expected, depending on the item's actual condition.

 

3. Offer Process

Once we receive your submission:

  • We will review and respond within 1–3 working days.
  • Our offer will be based on the item's market value, condition, and demand.
  • You are under no obligation to accept the offer.

 

4. Shipping & Acceptance

If you accept our offer:

  • You’ll receive a prepaid shipping label (UK only).
  • You must send your item within 7 days of accepting the offer.
  • Items must arrive in the described condition.

Upon receipt:

  • We will inspect the item. If it matches your description, we’ll proceed with payment.
  • If there is a significant discrepancy, we may revise or withdraw the offer. You will be notified by email and given options (e.g. return, donate).

 

5. Payment

  • Payment will be made via your selected method (Bank Transfer, PayPal, or Store Credit).
  • Payments are typically issued within 2–3 business days after we receive and approve the item.
  • Store credit is issued as a gift card and does not expire.

 

6. Rejected Items

If we decide not to accept your item after inspection:

  • We’ll explain why via email.
  • You may request a return, but return postage must be covered by you.
  • If you do not respond within 7 days, we reserve the right to donate or recycle the item.

 

7. High-Value or Bulk Items

For items valued over £500 or bulk submissions:

  • We may request additional documentation or verification.
  • A separate written agreement may apply.

 

8. Liability

  • We are not liable for items lost or damaged in transit if our shipping label is not used.
  • We are not responsible for any loss resulting from incorrect payment details provided by you.

 

9. Privacy

Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, in line with UK GDPR regulations. We only use the data you provide in our form to process the submission and communicate with you.

 

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our Sell to Us service after changes are made indicates acceptance of the new terms.
